After such a long trip, and exhausting week, and a funeral, staring at the blank screen is a little daunting. It has been so hard to say goodbye to Mem, and a lot of the time the reality of it hasn't seemed to sink in yet. She was such an important part of our lives. I will attempt as best I can to catch up on our latest activites and will be adding a lot of pictures since the kids got to do some fun things with their cousins on both sides while we were in CT. First here is a small garden that we planted in Mem's honor a few weeks ago. Her favorite color was red and we are hoping to attract hummingbirds.

Welcome home, you were missed and thought of often at our house. The garden is a beautiful idea.
Sorry about your grandmother, but she's now at peace. (I know that doesn't take our hurt away....) I hope you do get some hummingbirds. There are some in FL because our dogs found one last spring. :-(
Welcom back. What a lovely thing to do in honor of your grandmother. We had numerous hummingbirds at our old house in Fruitland Park. They loved our red pentas, so you may want to get some of those if everything else doesn't attract them.
what a great and sweet idea to honor Mem in such a neat way. Very inspirational!
What a beautiful tribute. I hope the healing is beginning. Praying for you my friend.
