Tonight was the AWANA Grand Prix. Jonathan and Madi both had original designs and had Meme help them paint them when they were there this weekend. Madi got a certificate for MOST COLORFUL and a first place trophy for BEST DESIGN!! Her car was a tropical beachy volkswagon bug kind of car. Jonathan's was a Disney bus.

Was it a race?
It is a race that AWANA does every year similar to the cub scout pine wood derby. I took some video that showed the cars racing, but am having a hard time getting it on here.
Congrats Jonathan and Madi! I want to see these cars in person.
