We've had bleachers in our back yard almost the whole time we've lived here. They were fun, useful, and certainly a conversation piece, but they are rotting and have probably been unsafe for a while, so they are coming down.
We put them in, we got them from Trinity E Free's summer children's program kidzone. Their summer program was a circus theme and they had turned their sanctuary into a "big top" with bleachers etc...at the end of the program they had a silent auction, we got them for $20, they lasted almost 3 years (and now we have tons of firewood).

So the question is...did you put the bleachers in or were they there when you moved in?

How sad that the bleachers are gone! They were such a unique addition to your backyard. All good things must come to an end. :0)
