For today...Monday October 12, 2009...it is Columbus Day, but not a day off at Winchester Academy...so much to do, so little time!!
Outside my window...the new pop-up camper is up in our driveway...and I'm not sure when we're going to find the time to put it down and make room for it in our garage.
I am thinking...that I have sooo much I want to blog about and, again, not finding the time!
I am thankful...that I am in control of my schedule...I just need to make it more controlable!
From the kitchen...I'm attempting a few days of the cabbage soup diet, and I'm starving and everyone seems to have yummy food posted on their blogs. The kids will have noodle soup with chop sticks for lunch because...
From the learning rooms...CHINA...I really want to go to EPCOT because Jake is doing Ping for FIAR and Jonathan and Madi are learning about the Sui Dynasty (581-618 AD). Jonathan is finally starting Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1 today.
I can't believe I haven't finished a book in weeks...I'm still not even half way through The Prince of Tides...I really like it, it is just a matter of the time thing (do you sense a theme here?)
I am hoping...that this cabbage soup will help my clothes to feel more comfortable.
I am praying... for patience and the ability to say the right thing at the right time.
Around the house...I'm loving the new laundry soap...it doesn't really "suds-up" though, but I think it's working...I've got plenty of laundry today to test it out with!
One of my favorite things...watching the kids on stage...Once on this Island this week...Madi is Ti Moune and Jonathan is Ton ton on Thurs and Saturday, Jake is Daniel's son every night...this was my favorite show when they did it three years ago...I've got high expectations for this week!
A few plans for the rest of the week...Mike's mother is coming down for the show, she gets here Wed night...lots to do between now and then!
Some picture thoughts...11 years ago at Cindy's wedding...

I'm having the same problem finsihing a book lately!
I love your new header picture! I like seeing the whole pumpkin patch and the kids seated all around, cute! I may copy you.
I am actually not reading much either. It took me more than a week to read a relatively short book. Of course, if I'd spend less time on the computer...
I'm so excited about this show and the show weekend. I'm going to embrace the craziness and not fight against it! Lots of caffeine should help do the trick.
