Daybook
Simple woman's daybook for today...Labor Day Sept 1.
Outside my window...it is cloudy.
I am thinking...about much I hated Labor Day up north, when it meant summer was over, and how much I love it as a Floridian.
I am thankful...that Mike has the day off and that Meme and Grampa Carlie are here.
From the kitchen...not much! The boys and I had left over pancakes for breakfast everyone else had toast or bagels. Apparently you can get free chicken strips at Chick-fil-a today if you wear a football shirt so the boys in our family are doing that, so we might end up there at some point today. We also have tons of left over Chinese food.
From the learning rooms... not much today...day off. Madi did a lot of math today while keeping score of our new favorite card game that Meme and Grampa Carlie taught us ("oh Crap").
I am creating...pillow cases for Christmas presents.
I am going...to the movies to see Mamma Mia in a few minutes.
I am wearing...the usual.
I am reading...Caddie Woodlawn, STILL.
I am hoping...that I can finish typing this before everyone else is ready to leave.
I am hearing...my family getting ready to head to the mall, some of us are going to the movie and the others will walk around at the mall.
Around the house...a little messy, but I brought tons of stuff to Goodwill on Saturday, so we have less to clean up.
One of my favorite things... when Meme and Grampa Carlie sleep over.
A few plans for the rest of the week... school work, Disney next weekend for Night of Joy!!
A picture thought I am sharing...Jonathan showing Mr Joel what to do for the lights, just before he headed on stage for Guys and Dolls!

So, how was Mamma Mia? That sounds like fun--to just go stroll the mall. My girls would love that. We pretty much never do that.
Love the picture of Jonathan and Joel.
